Installation and Starting
Installing and starting the pump is not a difficult thing to do. However, it might be slightly confusing if you have never done it before. That’s why we have prepared this short guide to help you out.

Installing with a Semi-Rigid Plastic Pipe
Then, you need to thread the first section of the pipe into the discharge opening. The same as with polyethylene pipe, you need to secure the wire cable 5 feet from the top of the pump using the electrical tape.
When putting the pump in place, pass the pipe and cable through the well seal. Of course, make sure that the well seal is properly vented. Cut the last section to the required length, and install a 1 or 1-¼-inch male connector over the end of the pipe. You can do it using a solvent, to properly weld the pieces together.
Wrap the 90-degree threads over the plastic elbow with Teflon tape, and thread the elbow into the male connector. Depending on the pump model, you might need additional clamps and fittings to make the necessary connections at the elbow, and maybe control center.
Installing the Control Center
At first, make sure to use the Teflon tape on all thread joints. Wrap the outside thread of the tank control center and thread it into the tank opening. Install the pressure gauge with a ¾ x ¼-inch busing at the opening of the control center.
Connect the pipe from well and pump to the control center using the male plastic adapter and a clamp, in case of polyethylene pipe. If you use ABS or steel pipes, thread them directly into the control center.
Working with electricity is not advised if you are not a professional. However, if you still intend to do it, be sure to take all the necessary safety measures and properly follow the instructions.
Before you attempt to do any wiring, turn off the main power supply to the pump. Turn the pressure switch to the OFF position, which will disconnect the switch. Then, you need to remove the cover from the pressure switch by simply loosening the cover nut.
You need to connect the wires from the power supply to the pressure switch, using no less than 14-gauge wire. Cut the wire cable to the proper length and connect the wires to the pressure switch. In the end, you need to replace the cover on the pressure switch and reset the lever.
Starting the Pump
